Hi! This is Laney and Claire blogging about our favorite show, the X-FACTOR! We, of course, are huge Chris Rene fans-hence the name of this blog-but we have other favorite contestants too. Now, in case you don't know what the X-FACTOR is, then it is this: A show on Fox news that is run by a former judge of American Idol (Simon! Oh no. It is just like american idol too). Simon invited a couple of other judges as well, and the whole thing works like American Idol, only with things like double eliminations and singing battles between the bottom two. Anyway, Chris Rene has a very inspiring back story: He was on drugs and went into rehab, he came out of rehab, has been clean for over 4 months now, and has always wanted to be a Pro singer! He is a very good songwriter as well, and wrote this song, Young Homie. Here is his amazing audition for the X-FACTOR:
